Three reasons why this is THE most common Telechron clock of all.

1) Came in two different styles appealing to a wide audience.
2) They were produced for ten, long years.
3) Probably the most indestructable clocks ever to come out of Ashland.  A solid block of
    mahogany or a solid block of plexiglass.

We have here the same hands and numeral ring from the 4F65 mounted in a rectangle.  What was the appeal?  Was it the little, brass feet?  The plastic model has the distinction of being the only Telechron in the 50-year line to have depreciated in value.  It's 30 plus dollar price tag was prohibitive in the 50's but you wouldn't want to pay half that now.  The mahogany on the wooden model was stained so dark, they could have hidden any wood under there (hmmmm.....)  There's more wood grain showing on the painted dial than anywhere else.  No luminous numbers, no light and no style.  I give it a C+.
